Suk Maya Lama, as known as Kailee, Date of Birth: 8th May 1960
I was born in Buddhist family in Nepal. I have two brothers and five sisters. After the death of my father, my mother took us to Bhutan. There I heard about Jesus and accepted Him as my saviour. I married with Subba. I am blessed with two sons, a daughter and two grandsons.
Short Personal History:
After briefly serving as leaders for an underground church of Bhutan, God challenged us through a vision and prophecy to come to Nepal and work among the unreached people groups (UPGs), identified by Joshua Project 2000, who have no viable Christian presence among them. They are perishing and are facing daily life without hope in the world. Obeying Him, we came to Nepal in 1996.
As confirmation, the Lord also unexpectedly brought Jan Schlegel and Susanne Fortenbacher of Germany to Nepal with the same vision. The Lord led us to start evangelism and Church planting among the Gurungs, Mugales and Lobas. The Lord again gave us vision and burden to work among other UPGs of the Himalayan Kingdoms of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. To fulfill this, we were called to start Himalayan Office for Adventure Mission Alive, at Nepal, the gate way to Himalayas. To equip us, He led us under go and complete Crossroads Disciple Training School (CDTS) and School Of Frontier Missions (SOFM) with University of Nations at Pune, India.
With our strong commitment, the Lord again led us to work among other several UPGs. He also blessed us with people to sponsor the education of the needy children of Nepal and financial support of long term workers. We are also involved in the prayer campaigns, prayer trek and share and festival outreaches. God is working through us. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah!
Current Vision and Goals:
To help establish a living church among the unreached people groups (UPGs), of the Himalayan Kingdoms of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. To fulfill the vision we are:

b. Mobilizing, motivating and equipping the local Churches and Missions to adopt the UPGs and work among them.
c. Motivating and sending/leading teams for Mercy ministry, Jesus film and evangelical outreaches to the UPGs.
d. Motivating and equipping workers for short/long term service.
e. Help raising financial support for the workers and Himalayan Office for Mission-Alive Nepal.

Statement of purpose:
Adventure Mission-Alive is an movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus Christ personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As Children of God’s Kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His body, the Church, and to present the whole Gospel for the whole man through out the whole world.
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God’s Son; that man is created in God’s image; that He created us to have eternal life through Jesus Christ; that although all men have sinned and come short of God’s glory; God has made salvation possible through the death on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that repentance, faith, love and obedience are fitting responses to God’s initiative of grace towards us; that God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth; and that the Holy Spirit’s power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishing of Christ’s last commandment "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15).
AMA’s financial policy:
Adventure Mission Alive is a fully volunteer organization.
No one receives a salary. Each worker is responsible to raise his/her own support. God’s faithfulness in providing
comes in many ways. Some staff members receive a regular support from a home
church, friends and/or family, while others rely on God’s provision through
other ways.
