Rilwan was threatened by and exposed terrorists like Shaheem of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. The Maldivian journalist revealed evil plans of Shaheem. Police fear to prosecute Shaheem because of political power wielded by the extremist Adhaalath Party. Rilwan quoted Shaheem and other terrorists in his Tumblr post.
"Without any doubt it is an obligation to establish a Caliphate which will represent the people of Islam and implement Allah's Sharia. ... Huge sacrifices have to be made today, to re-establish the greater authority (caliphate) of Muslims. It may be difficult to establish the great authority, which all Muslims must obey, in small nations. However, it is in the hands of Islamic citizens to establish Islamic governments, as a step towards establishing the great authority."

Does this sound like the caliphate that ISIS murderers try to establish in Iraq? Rilwan exposed the wicked movement to establish a caliphate in the Maldives. It cost him his life.

A terrorist also stabbed journalist Hilath Rasheed - almost fatally in the neck. I recently chatted with Hilath about his blogspot article on the disappearance of Rilwan.
