I M Lucifer has been caught red handed. In fact, blood still drips from his hands. His wicked deeds have been exposed. He also is known as that old serpent, the devil and Satan. Among his many crimes is keeping the atolls in darkness. For years he succeeded to suppress the Holy Bible from Dhivehiraajje. Last month many Maldivians resisted him by downloading the Bible!

The devil has a long criminal record. He was a liar from the beginning. He took the form of a serpent in the garden of Eden. He said to Eve, "You shall not surely die". That was the first lie. Eve disobeyed God. Not only did Eve die, but all of her children died ever after.

The devil tempted Jesus. When Jesus was hungry, he mocked him, saying, "If you are the Son of God, change these stones into bread". Jesus answered, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from God". Again Jesus rebuked him, "Go away, Satan. You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only you shall serve".

Then comes the devil and takes away the word. The devil is your murderer. Right now he is trying to steal away God's word from you before you believe it. He knows that if you reject Jesus as the Son of God then you will go to hell. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but by him. For there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

The penalty for the devil's crime is hell. All who reject Jesus his enemy receive hell. And the smoke of their torment goes up for ever and ever. Amen. Whosoever is not found written in the book of life is cast into the lake of fire.

My friend, is your name written in the book of life? Jesus says, Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes on him that sent me has everlasting life. He shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life". Do not be like the Jews, to whom Jesus said, "You will not come unto me that you might have life".
