/1 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, 
Christ died for us.
Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come 
that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own 
which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of 
the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth; Unto him that loved us, 
and washed us from our sins in his own blood.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his 
friends.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever 
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an 
everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

/2 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest 
in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the 
Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was 
God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the 
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord 
by the prophet, saying.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they 
shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
I and my Father are one.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not 
known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest 
thou then, Show us the Father?.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words 
that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in 
me, he doeth the works.

/3 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, 
and he in God.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall 
be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The 
mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a 
voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well 
pleased; hear ye him.
Jesus said, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, 
and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy 
thing which shall be born of thee shal be called the Son of God.

/4 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this 
world; I am not of this world.
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I 
am.
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: 
when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall 
never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door 
of the sheep.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in 
me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh 
unto the Father, but by me.

/5 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five 
loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, 
and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that 
remained twelve baskets full.
And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and 
children.
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and 
have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and 
their net brake.
And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus 
passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
What will ye that I shall do unto you?.
They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their 
eyes received sight, and they followed him.

/6 God who created all things by Jesus Christ.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, 
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or 
principalities or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was 
made.
God, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed 
heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that 
same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord 
both of the dead and living.
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus 
Christ our Lord.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, 
the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not neither is weary? there is 
no searching of his understanding.

/7 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy 
brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge 
the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, 
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one 
from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according 
to my gospel.
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he 
which was ordained of God to be the judge of quick and dead.

/8 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go 
in and out, and find pasture.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh 
unto the Father, but by me.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe 
not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by 
him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all 
them that obey him.
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ 
Jesus.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under 
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

/9 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and 
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify 
unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the 
inheritance of the saints in light.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into 
the kingdom of his dear Son.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to 
open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by 
thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us 
an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

/10 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from 
wrath through him.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, 
according to the riches of his grace.
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the 
remission of sins.
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as 
silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your 
fathers.
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and 
without spot.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one 
with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all 
sin.
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit 
offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to 
serve the living God?.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his 
Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

/11 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is 
the gift of God.
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord 
Jesus Christ.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor 
uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory 
that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of 
God?.
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on 
him whom he hath sent.
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son 
of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

/12 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward 
them that fear him.
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that 
fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children.
Blessed be God, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the 
transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for 
ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the 
clouds.
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions 
fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy 
he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

/13 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be 
as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, 
they shall be as wool.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come; And let him that heareth say, Come; 
And let him that is athirst come; And whosoever will, let him take the water 
of life freely.
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no 
money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and 
without price.
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, 
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the 
little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the 
kingdom of God.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you 
rest.

/14 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: 
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not 
his brother.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and 
touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith 
the Lord Almighty.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have 
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the 
midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the 
world.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, 
even to them that believe on his name.

/15 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, 
fornication, uncleaness, lasciviousness.
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath strife, seditions, 
heresies.
Envyings, murders, drunkeness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell 
you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such 
things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkeness, not in 
chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to 
fulfill the lusts thereof.
Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong 
drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!.
Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the 
cup, when it moveth itself aright.
At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is 
not wise.

/16 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, 
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?.
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, 
that is, God.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not 
steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and thy 
mother.
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my 
youth.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: 
go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt 
have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great 
possessions.
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways 
of death.

/17 Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that 
shall he also reap.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is 
righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the 
beginning.
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?.
Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor 
effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, 
nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of 
God.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the 
wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth 
himself.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

/18 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and 
so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is 
finished, bringeth forth death.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and 
peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the 
law of God, neither indeed can be.
The soul that sinneth, it shall die; The son shall not bear the iniquity of 
the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the 
righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the 
wicked shall be upon him.
It was meet that we should be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is 
alive again; and was lost, and is found.
As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his 
own death.
For the wages of sin is death.

/19 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of 
holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and 
his face was bound about with a napkin; Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and 
let him go.
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still; And he 
said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak.
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might 
take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself; I have power to lay it 
down, and I have power to take it again; This commandment have I received of 
my Father.
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; 
and have the keys of hell and of death.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

/20 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that 
is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters 
beneath the earth.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the OLRD will 
not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work.
Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
Neither shalt thou steal.
Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy 
neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, 
or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.

/21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may 
hide themselves.
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the 
LORD; Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, 
thou art there.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the 
darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all 
things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, 
that shall not be known and come abroad.

/22 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of 
his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity.
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and 
gnashing of teeth.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in 
store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly 
men.
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the 
Lord, and from the glory of his power.
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them 
from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather 
than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into 
life eternal.

/23 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in 
righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given 
assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve 
the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of 
judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, 
according to their works.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may 
receive the things done in his body, whether it be good or bad.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

/24 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift; For if through the 
offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by 
grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God 
that showeth mercy.
God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet 
for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through 
righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord 
Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

/25 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men 
every where to repent.
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the 
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the Holy 
Ghost.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when 
the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and 
forsaketh them shall have mercy.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but 
the sorrow of the world worketh death.
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among 
all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

/26 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and 
keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely 
live, he shall not die.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let 
him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for 
he will abundantly pardon.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive 
you.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins 
be forgiven thee.
Through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to 
give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the 
door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to 
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

/27 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live 
soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather 
reprove them.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world; If any man love 
the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, 
and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world 
is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the 
enemy of God.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine 
eyes; cease to do evil.

/28 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: 
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a 
heart of flesh.
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are 
passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a 
man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth 
righteousness is born of him.
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of 
God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of 
the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word 
of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

/29 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.
And hath raised us up together, and made us to sit together in heavenly places 
in Christ Jesus.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being 
dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where 
Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and 
lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
God forbid; How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto 
God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

/30 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he 
that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of 
man be lifted up.
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and 
Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not 
the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through 
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him 
that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but 
is passed from death unto life.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not 
life.

/31 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the 
children of God.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life 
is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not 
life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of 
God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on 
the name of the Son of God.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and 
he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will 
manifest myself to him.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness 
quietness and assurance for ever.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your 
hearts, crying, Abba, Father!.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of 
his Spirit.
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

/32 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they 
might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh 
from you.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, 
and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth 
in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the 
Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that 
your joy might be full.
Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy 
right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet 
believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

/33 But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the 
commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it 
was against your fathers.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants 
ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto 
righteousness?.
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be 
revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not 
the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the 
Lord, and from the glory of his power.
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse.
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command 
you this day.
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all 
them that obey him.

/34 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the 
glory of God the Father.
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also 
before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father 
which is in heaven.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in 
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth 
confession is made unto salvation.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that 
acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of 
man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and 
of the holy angels.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and 
he in God.

/35 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring 
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because 
there is no truth in him; he is a liar, and the father of it.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the 
power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and 
inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the 
devil.
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou 
shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles 
of the devil.

/36 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also 
himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy 
him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the 
beginning; For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might 
destroy the works of the devil.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, 
or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved 
us.
Submit yourselves therefore to God; Resist the devil, and he will flee from 
you.
Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the 
Spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs 
and lying wonders.
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast 
out.

/37 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not 
charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, 
goodness, faith.
Meekness, temperance.
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He 
saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee; He saith unto him, 
Feed my sheep.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that 
loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not 
seen?.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to 
another.
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the 
brethren; He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his 
commandments are not grievous.

/38 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared 
first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our 
justification.
And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, 
and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged onn a tree.
Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly.
Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, 
who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: 
then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace 
be unto you.
Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and 
reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but 
believing.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

/39 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the 
dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the 
graves shall hear his voice.
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; 
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were 
baptized into his death?.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ 
was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should 
walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be 
also in the likeness of his resurrection.
And if Christ be in you, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he 
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by 
his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

/40 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of 
our enemies might serve him without fear.
In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
Having therefore these pronises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from 
all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of 
God.
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification 
of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me 
is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you 
with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, 
sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of 
conversation.

/41 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own 
blood, suffered without the gate.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that 
we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness 
and true holiness.
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of 
holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the 
wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to 
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons 
ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the 
Lord.

/42 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: 
how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask 
him?.
And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and 
ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye 
shall be witnesses unto me.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled 
together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the 
word of God with boldness.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of 
God dwell in you; Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of 
his.
For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith.
And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.

/43 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as 
be of a contrite spirit.
For all those things hath mine hand made, saith the LORD: but to this man will 
I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my 
word.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him 
that believeth.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, 
as though some strange thing happened unto you.
But rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when 
his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more 
death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for 
the former things are passed away.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily 
thou shalt be fed.
Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world; Amen.

/44 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour 
them that are tempted.
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of 
them all.
When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the 
rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou 
shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to 
them who are the called according to his purpose.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is 
faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but 
will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to 
bear it.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our 
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

/45 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he 
shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the 
name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of 
heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not 
blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before 
my Father, and before his angels.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I 
also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he 
shall be my son.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To 
him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the 
midst of the paradise of God.
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give 
power over the nations.

/46 And unto the married, I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife 
depart from her husband.
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her 
husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long 
as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her 
husband.
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall 
be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that 
law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: 
and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth 
adultery.
But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the 
cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall 
marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

/47 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive 
you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all 
the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the 
clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall 
be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall 
see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is 
pure.
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous 
and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he 
cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think 
not.
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and 
then he shall reward every man according to his works.

/48 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God 
spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, 
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed 
be thy name.
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the 
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever; Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive 
you.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive 
your trespasses.

/49 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he 
might bring us to God.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and 
forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, 
even to them that believe on his name.
He that hath the Son hath life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him 
that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but 
is passed from death unto life.
